Jimmy's Farm 28 year-old Essex boy Jimmy Doherty wants to be a pig farmer and make the best sausages money can buy. But he knows less about farming than pigs know about flying. The closest he s been to animal husbandry is studying insects at university. Undaunted he s chucked in city life, borrowed £55,000 and bought a derelict farm in Suffolk. His parent’s aren’t pleased. His girlfriend Michaela thinks he’s mad. It s the start of the summer and Jimmy is about to find out just what it takes to bring home the bacon. The first (2004) short-run season (four episodes) was followed up with a one-off special, Back on Jimmy's Farm, in 2005, and two further 4-part series, titled Return to Jimmy's Farm (2006) and Crisis on Jimmy's Farm (2007). 30-minute edits from the first season are currently being aired under the title Jimmy's Farm Diaries. He enters into island life by visiting the Highland Games and fishing for salmon and trout, but as winter approaches, he must dig peat for fuel and fatten up his pigs and turkeys in time for Christmas

The marine biologist takes a boat trip to the archipelago of St Kilda, the remotest part of the British Isles, while working voluntarily as a wildlife ranger in the Outer Hebrides. He also leads nature treks along the beaches, and sets up tourist trails for visitors

　Episode 3

The volunteer wildlife ranger hopes to raise money to restore abandoned walking trails by hosting a feast showcasing local produce at Niall Leveson-Gower's hotel. He hopes to take guests on a culinary journey by preparing food from the sea, shore, land and farmers' produce including salmon, clams and venison. He also enjoys the rare sightings of sea eagles teaching their young to fly, and a beached whale

The marine biologist creates a new walking trail on Barra, before heading back home to organise a training course for volunteer whale watchers and taking part in a crofting session with local schoolchildren. He also joins a member of Scottish Natural Heritage and a gamekeeper on a goose shoot to keep birds away from the crops, and makes a trip to the Monach Isles, home to 20,000 grey seals during the autumn

The marine biologist follows the Bonnie Prince Charlie route on horseback as he writes a guide book to a series of trails around the islands. He also takes part in an anti-erosion project on Vatersay, and visits Benbecula, where he joins a hedgehog patrol, before attending the last lamb sales of the year and organising a beach clean-up

Monty tries to raise funds to publish his research on walking trails and enlists the help of artist Steve Burgess. As Christmas approaches, he takes ceilidh lessons and indulges in a bit of wildlife watching, before celebrating the festive season with a dip in the sea and dinner with friends, and learning that the local ranger committee has decided to take on board his recommendations to employ a permanent ranger. Environmental Health Officers hit the food markets and catering vans, and we meet the Food Fighters on board a very special train. Plus, presenter Simon Rimmer meets the farmer going to incredible lengths to protect the humble duck egg.

　Episode 3

Presenter Simon Rimmer visits a truly scrumptious factory to learn how nut-free chocolate is made, and the environmental health officers crack down on Britain's favourite takeaway - fish and chips.

　Episode 4

Environmental health officer Richard Kuzaira fears an old rodent problem has returned to a Chinese takeaway. And from the oceans to the ovens, we meet the Food Fighters protecting Britain's fish.

　Episode 5

We follow the humble egg's journey from the farm to the food factories. Chef Simon Rimmer visits a yorkshire pudding factory that makes a staggering 20 million puds a week. And the environmental health officers are out in force, cracking down on new businesses.

In this programme, Simon is at Gatwick Airport meeting the canine food fighter stopping banned goods coming in to the country.

Series following the work of food inspectors. Presenter Simon Rimmer goes behind the scenes with UK Border Agency patrols at one of the world's busiest airports. They are charged with tracking down hundreds of tonnes of illegally imported meat smuggled into Britain each year via freight consignments.

In Cornwall the Food Standards Agency orders a temporary ban on the harvesting of mussels after the discovery of algae which cause serious food poisoning.

Series following the work of food inspectors. Simon Rimmer joins inspectors who police food safety at Britain's largest fish market - Billingsgate in London. Plus there is the inside story of how food inspectors cracked one of Britain's biggest ever food scams.

Series following the work of food inspectors. There is an evening inspection of a pizza takeaway in Middlesbrough which has previously been prosecuted for poor hygiene conditions. Simon Rimmer joins trading standard officers in Manchester as they investigate fish and chip shops suspected of swindling customers by passing off river cobbler as cod.

This two-part documentary tells the story of the brutal World War II campaign fought between Australia and Japan in the green hell of the mountains of Papua New Guinea.

Told from both the Japanese and Australian perspectives the series also explores the impact of the decisions of high command on the soldiers at the front line.

Kokoda delves behind the myths of war to tell the story from both sides of the conflict, giving an authentic and comprehensive account of the desperate confusion of war, the intricate connections between the frontline soldiers and military high command, and the political agendas that influenced the campaign and continue to percolate through contemporary Australian society.

To tell the story with authenticity, the Kokoda film crew walked and filmed the length of the Kokoda Track, capturing for the first time the visceral nature of the terrain and the Owen Stanley Mountains.

The series follows in the footsteps of Australia's ill-equipped and poorly trained conscripts, the 'chocolate soldiers' and the battled hardened troops of the Australian Imperial Forces, walking the treacherous 98-kilometre jungle trail from Port Moresby to Kokoda, then on to the blood-stained battlegrounds of Gona, Buna and Sanananda.

The documentary includes interviews with Australian and Japanese veterans and historians, letters to loved ones, previously unpublished documents, archival footage, footage from the track and dramatisations in Australia and Papua New Guinea. The diaries of embedded war correspondents Okada Seizo and Chester Wilmot paint an intimate portrait of how soldiers on both sides felt during the battles.

Kokoda introduces the key commanders, including controversial American General Douglas MacArthur, Australia's General Sir Thomas Blamey, and Japanese Commander Tomitaro Horii, for whom defeat in a campaign that had cost thousands of Japanese lives, was intolerable.

Kokoda examines the Australian public's response to military campaigns - both then and now - and the myths that they engender.
