　Episode 1

Michaela Strachan and Steve Leonard help to rescue and care for orphaned apes. The pair begin their quest by rescuing an orangutan illegally kept as a pet and visiting a forest school where the animals are trained in climbing, feeding and socialising. Plus, an attempt to save one of the creatures from an area of forest due to be destroyed

　Episode 2

Michaela Strachan and Steve Leonard try to teach baby apes how to behave in the wild, a role their mother would have fulfilled over the course of six years. However, when a virus spreads through the centre, the pair worry that the young apes may not survive

　Episode 3

Michaela Strachan deals with a crisis at the rescue centre as a newly arrived baby fights for its life, but there is good news as her favourite orphan Lomon starts to make progress. Steve Leonard lends a hand at the forest school, where young apes learn skills to equip them for life in the wild, but gets a surprise when an orangutan starts to give birth at the back of the centre

　Episode 4

Orphans Grendon and Ellie continue to make progress, and even troubled Lomon makes great strides in the `Forest School' classes. However, the day is blighted when Steve Leonard travels to a village where a baby orangutan is being held illegally - and an emotionally charged rescue takes place

Steve Leonard rescues a large female who dislocated her ankle while fleeing from captors. Michaela Strachan's favourite orphan, Lomon, finally learns to climb a tree. Plus, the story of Zorro - a huge male orangutan who spent 13 years in a tiny cage before being released onto a forested island
