南乔治亚岛，南大西洋南部的一个火山岛。位于南大西洋距马尔维纳斯群岛东南1300公里处。呈西北-东南向，长约168公里，宽约32公里，面积约3592平方公里。岛上多山，最高点2，900米。沿岸多峡江。大部地区覆有冰雪。寒冷的海洋性气候。人烟极稀少。现为捕鲸业基地。
