This is a very in-depth documentary that tells about Tina’s life and how it all began, from Nutbush, Tennessee to stardom. Not only is Tina interviewed throughout, but other stars give their account of Tina as well. It is more like a documentary and a concert in one. There is video footage of Tina performing from when she first started singing with Ike Turner up to 1992. It was great seeing Tina performing at such a young age and how she continued to evolve into a more beautiful and talented person throughout the years.
Ike Turner is also interviewed from a rehabilitation center, and his interview was very interesting. After viewing the tape, I realized that there is not as much strife between the two like I thought there would be. Ike apologized for his actions, and Tina has moved on with her life.
