Episodes One
Dallas Campbell, Liz Bonnin, Jem Stansfield and Dr Yan Wong explain how science shapes the world and put theories to the test with a range of imaginative experiments. They begin by focusing on gait recognition, vortex rings, genetic engineering and a novel way to cook an egg.
Episodes Two
Engineer Jem Stansfield ties himself to a water-powered jet-pack, which he has designed and built, and zoologist Liz Bonnin finds out if insects are the future of food. Science enthusiast Dallas Campbell investigates Nasa's latest attempts to prove there is life beyond Earth, while roving reporter Dr Yan Wong challenges people in Cambridge to blow up a bin liner.
Episodes Three
Dallas Campbell traces the global journey of 30,000 indestructible plastic ducks, and Liz Bonnin goes on manoeuvres at the bottom of the Baltic Sea in the Royal Navy's latest search-and-rescue submarine. Dr Yan Wong challenges people in Cardiff to take on the might of friction, while Jem Stansfield uses two domestic vacuum cleaners to climb up the side of a building.

Dallas Campbell puts psychological priming to the test and Liz Bonnin investigates recent research into the magnetic qualities of cows. Dr Yan Wong uses an underwater firework to demonstrate how rockets work, while Jem Stansfield tries to put the programme in the space race.
